Chrysalis' facility based program is a work site that provides low-stress opportunities for people to gain work experience, enhance social interaction, and increase meaningful day structure.
Work is supplied by area nonprofit organizations and is completed by Chrysalis volunteers as a community service, free of charge. The work involves various bulk mail tasks (e.g. folding, collating, labeling, sorting) and packet assembly.
* The only criterion to participate in our program is that you must have a primary mental health (Axis I) diagnosis. If you are eligible, our staff will work with you to develop a schedule and a plan to meet your individual needs. Chrysalis works to ensure that our consumers have a meaningful work day that includes structure, social engagement and a positive and encouraging environment. The Work Center program is available to our consumers at no charge. We look forward to working with you.

Through community and facility based programs, staff members provide continuous supervision and support to consumers while maintaining contact with the support systems in their life.
