Our Mission
Chrysalis provides individualized vocational and work-related services to persons in our community who have mental illnesses.

Our Vision
Chrysalis supports recovery by enabling consumers to have the opportunity for work activity that fulfills each individual’s needs and aspirations, and promotes hope, healing, and empowerment.

Our Programs
Chrysalis is comprised of two core programs.

The facility-based volunteer Work Center Program provides consumers with scheduled work experience, daily structure, assistance with work-related skills, and an opportunity to improve social skills. Consumers complete bulk mailing projects for local non-profit organizations throughout Dane County at no cost.

The Supported Employment Program is available for individuals who are seeking community-based competitive employment. The program offers services such as vocational skills assessments, assistance with the job search process, initial on-the-job training, and ongoing support.

Chrysalis has published our first Annual Report! Please see the link to the left to view a copy of the report. It is a summary of our programs and a snapshot of some accomplishments our consumers have made throughtout the last year.

The Chrysalis Board of Directors and staff are gearing up for our second annual fundraiser gathering. We are in the process of approaching local businesses to secure donations. We want to fill a Dane County budget shortfall and are working to develop long-term economic stability plans so that we can become self sufficient. The following local businesses have already made a commitment to provide in-kind and/or monetary donations to support the vital work Chrysalis does:

Anchor Bank
Becker Law offices
Capitol Brewery
Sam’s Club
Sentry Metcalfe's
Trader Joe’s
Whole Foods
